I was awarded a Master of Social work from the University of South Florida and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have more than 30 years of experience providing individual, family and group counseling in the Tampa Bay area.
My background includes work in the community mental health, elementary, middles and high school, college and hospice settings.
I am deeply committed to continuing to update my counseling skills and my professional credentials include certification as a Trauma and Loss Consultant; Trauma and Loss Clinical Specialist and I am trained in Psychodrama, Art and Play therapy.
In addition I have completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I am a clinical supervisor for registered social worker interns being trained to become licensed by the State of Florida.
